Neck Lift
Neck lift is a procedure designed to restore definition to the neck region. With aging, the skin and deeper tissues relax and begin to sag.
Genetic predisposition may cause fat to accumulate in the neck area or cause a double chin. To improve the angle and contours of the neck,
many people choose to have a neck lift.
Endoscopic neck lift allows Dr. Frank W. Shagets to work through small incisions placed behind the ears. The deeper tissues are suspended to
improve the neck angle, the skin is re-draped, and the incisions closed. Submental liposuction can be done in conjunction with this procedure
to rid the area of excess fat. Chin augmentation may be recommended for patients needing a stronger shin to improve the angle from chin to neck.
For most patients, the recovery time is one week.
During your consultation with Dr. Frank W. Shagets, a detailed description of the surgery, the risks inherent to the procedure and realistic
expectations will be discussed. The type of anesthesia, the surgical facility and costs will be outlined.
