Facelift

As we age, the facial skin loosens and loses its elasticity. Years of facial animation show in the deep lines that develop on the forehead, around the eyes, and mouth. Gravity causes the cheeks to fall, the skin and muscles to droop, and jowls to form at the jaw line. FACE LIFT is the surgical procedure designed to rejuvenate the aging face. FACE LIFT has become the 3rd most desired facial plastic surgical procedure.

The goal of FACE LIFT is to improve the overall appearance of the face and neck. Incisions are carefully placed in front of the ear, circling the earlobe, and behind the ear. For men, incisions are placed to accommodate the natural beard line. Drooping muscles are surgically re-suspended and tightened. The excess skin is removed. Great attention is paid to the closure of the incisions so that the scars will be as inconspicuous as possible. Additional procedures that would benefit the forehead, eye and neck areas may be recommended by your surgeon. These additional changes may be necessary for the best overall result and could be done at the same time. Recovery is usually two to three weeks.
